Small improvements to screen vision accuracy and how your companion understands what’s on screen.

Five new ways to play together

Four in a Row, Hidden Fleet, Chess, Checkers and Letter Duel join Secret Guest, bringing Asiden to six games you can play with your companion.

• Choose your table talk. A new chattiness slider controls how often your companion comments between moves, from quieter games to more conversation. You can still talk to them directly at any setting.
• Keep your shared game history. Finished games save their results and a brief recap of the table conversation, separate from your main chat. See your running score at the table and bring up a game you played together later.
• Rules within reach. Open the rules from any of the six games. The five new games also adjust their difficulty as you win or lose.

Game records are saved on your device. If you choose cloud chat, game commentary and the short end-of-game conversation recap can use Sparks; quieter settings reduce commentary calls.

Meet Mika, play together, and explore a refreshed Asiden

A new companion, a major Live2D refresh, our first game together, and a redesigned interface.

• Meet Mika. A new Live2D character with a cheeky, curious and caring personality. Her appearance is available separately; choosing her signature personality pairs it with her Mika model.
• More expressive companions. Upgraded Lily and Sasha rigs, smoother arm and shoulder movement, improved clothing joins and proportions, and more expressive faces and head movements. All three have their own gestures and coordinated reactions.
• Better-timed reactions. Tagged Live2D gestures accompany voiced replies. Text conversations keep gentle idle movement, breathing, blinking and looking around.
• Play Secret Guest together. Ask about visible traits, narrow down the portraits and guess your companion’s secret guest. Chat between moves, add a comment to a prepared answer, and resume a saved round with its own conversation intact. Your companion can take a calculated risk on an earlier guess, with a little personality in how cautiously they play.
• A clearer interface. Reorganised settings and updated guided tours make appearance, personality, conversation, voice, privacy, memory and account controls easier to find.
• More control. Improved custom colours, app-only voice volume, clearer screen-region selection, response-cost estimates and billing history.
• Everyday fixes. More reliable avatar dragging, improved Quiet controls, better lookup of saved dates, and protection against older background goal updates replacing newer changes.

Your companion’s memories remain separate from appearance choices. Secret Guest keeps its table conversation separate from your main chat.

Pushed a fix to trust signing process

Fixed an issue that could prevent imported VRM models from appearing after import or when reopening Asiden.

New Live2D looks and better screen conversations

• Choose the new Live2D versions of Lily and Sasha, alongside the existing 3D models.
• Browse larger previews in Model Appearance and switch your look while keeping the same personality and memories.
• Improved model switching and restoring your chosen model when you reopen Asiden.
• Screen follow-ups keep recent details in context, with better handling of visible names and titles.
• Requests to copy a paragraph use your rough description of its location to find the whole paragraph.
• Fixed some unnecessary privacy blocks and problems retrying screen questions.

New voices and better game wiki downloads

• Added Pocket: 23 male and female voices with quicker speech starts, running locally on your PC. More voices to find the sound you like.
• Improved game wiki downloads to retain more useful sections, rules and table details. Update your existing wiki packs to pick up the improvements.

Tuned overly aggressive safety checks to reduce unnecessary interruptions and make conversations more immersive.

New voice choices, smoother conversation

New subscription voice choices with expressive delivery, fewer incorrect refusals in ordinary conversation, better handling of delayed game commentary, and less unnecessary background work.

Flash 2.5 and ElevenLabs’ new v4 Turbo voices are subscription features and use Sparks. v4 Turbo uses more Sparks.

Bug fixes and improvements

Various bug fixes and improvements, including refinements to memory and conversation continuity.

Fresher game reactions, less talking about the last wave

Game moments move quickly. This update focuses on keeping your companion’s comments tied to recent screen information and leaving more room for you to play.

• Fresher gameplay observations. Older screen observations now need a fresh look within your existing screen-awareness limits, or the companion skips that comment.
• Stale remarks can be dropped before speech starts. A second freshness check catches comments that became outdated while the voice was being prepared.
• Shorter reactions. Gameplay instructions now ask for one brief remark about a new detail, with less repetition and fewer fast-changing numbers.
• Keep playing without having to answer. Leaving a gameplay comment unanswered no longer counts as a negative signal for adaptive chattiness.
• More natural game-screen requests. Requests such as “look at the map” can trigger a screen look when a game is detected and screen sharing is enabled.
• Screen snipping stays within reach. The snip and close buttons stay visible when the companion stands at the edge of the screen.

Response timing and screen understanding still depend on your model, hardware and settings. Live gameplay tuning continues.

Better search, tidier settings

This update makes it easier to find information with your companion and customise how they fit into your day.

• Improved chat web search. Ask your companion to look something up in chat or by voice, with source links to check the answer and read more.
• More useful free searches. Better support for news, Steam game announcements and Wikipedia. You can also share a webpage link and ask your companion to read it. Free search has limited coverage, and some websites block page reading.
• Broader search with compatible cloud models. Supported cloud models can use online search through Sparks. Free search works with your existing chat model, without downloading another AI model.
• A new Customise tab. Reply length, chattiness, speech bubbles, screen awareness, web search and interest updates are now together, making everyday preferences easier to find.
• Clearer settings. Shorter descriptions, clearer costs and expandable explanations keep the familiar look while reducing clutter.

Chat search stays optional and responds to your requests. Independent news updates about your interests have their own separate setting.

Livelier gaming, a clearer memory and two-screen support

Your companion now has more to say while you play, keeps a clearer picture of what’s current in your life, and shows you exactly what she remembers.

• More to say while you play. Fixed issues that could keep your companion quiet during games, even at the highest commentary setting, or for a whole session after starting in Quiet mode. Opening her chat no longer makes her lose track of your game.
• A clearer memory page. “What I remember about you” now separates what you’ve told her from what she’s picked up herself, with the date she noticed it, so anything wrong is easy to fix or delete. Health-related notes stay hidden until you choose to show them.
• Past events stay in the past. Appointments, trips and plans that have already happened are no longer treated as still to come, and passing comments about your screen are no longer saved as facts about you. Birthdays and anniversaries are always kept.
• Edit her memory by chatting. Ask her to find, correct or forget something she remembers.
• Two screens and screen areas. Choose which monitors she can see and limit her view to part of a screen in the new Screen settings. With two screens, she knows which is which.
• Game guides for more titles. She can find and download a game’s wiki automatically, with source links that open in your browser.
• Fixes. Improved microphone recovery and companion deletion. Memory edits now report accurately. Qwen 3.8 Max is no longer offered for screen vision because it could return empty descriptions. It’s still available for chat, and if you’d selected it for vision, Asiden switches you to the default.

Web search, Polish support and reliability fixes

• Web search in chat and voice: Look up news and read supported webpages, with clickable sources, clearer search settings and cloud-cost guidance.
• Optional Polish support: Try Polish text and voice conversations through the new Language tab. Download only the packs you need. This feature is experimental.
• Startup and memory fixes: Fixed an issue that could stop Asiden reopening after learning interests, and improved memory corrections and recovery from interrupted updates.
• Voice and news fixes: Fixed voice-history problems when installed on another drive, stuck speaking indicators and repeated news briefings.

Share videos with your companion, locally or in the cloud

Talk through a clip together: ask what’s happening, discuss a moment, or get a summary. Video is now available alongside chat and screen vision.

• Local video on your PC. Open a video file in the Video tab and explore it with a compatible local Gemma model. Video analysis runs on your computer; models with audio support can also follow the spoken words.
• Cloud video with Gemini Flash. Use our cloud API to discuss video files or public YouTube links. Cloud video requires an active subscription and Sparks, with your permission before a video is sent.
• Your choice of setup. Choose local or cloud video in the Video settings, or select one compatible model for chat, images and video in Overview.

Memory that keeps up with you. We’ve improved how your companion keeps track of what you’ve told her and handles corrections, helping her draw on more recent interests and preferences when they’re relevant to the conversation.

Your companion, with or without the 3D model

Choose the desktop experience that suits you, with easier access to chat across different screen sizes.

• A chat-only option. Turn the 3D model off in Settings and keep chat on screen, with Settings always within reach. Turn the model back on whenever you like.
• Chat that opens nearby. The chat window starts beside your companion and adapts to the available screen space, helping keep it close by and accessible on different displays.

A better sense of when things happened

Remembering something you shared feels more meaningful when your companion also understands when you shared it.

We’ve improved how your companion keeps track of when you shared something, helping reduce mix-ups between older memories and recent conversations.

• Clearer answers about past conversations. Improved how your companion uses the original message’s date when you ask when you said something, and how it handles missing dates.
• Cleaner replies. Fixed cases where internal timing notes could appear in a reply.
• More cloud choices. Added new models for conversations and screen vision, including Opus 5, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Qwen 3.8, GLM 5.3 Flash and Grok 4.6.
• Clearer Spark spending. Your history shows the Sparks deducted, with updated estimates and lower prices for selected Venice models.
